ASKEATON AFC BUY A PLAQUE SCHEME –  LET’S FINISH THE JOB!!
We at Askeaton AFC have come a very long way since we purchased 6 acres in 2003 from the O’Grady family at the picturesque Ballymore Askeaton. We wish to sincerely thank our previous AFC committees, players, supporters and families on their selfless efforts in getting us this far. Since June 2003 the club have raised and invested €1.2 million at Pairc Eas Geitine, which is inclusive of land purchase, site clearance, facility construction and club development.
As of today we have a shortfall of €140,000 and it is our intention to clear this debt, and which will then enable our present and dedicated committee to commence the next stage of development which will benefit both this and future generations in our community.
With this in mind, the club started a fundraiser a number of years ago inviting all sections of the local and wider community to make their donation through the ‘’Buy A Plaque Scheme”, As you can see from the picture, we still have plenty room for more plaques for anyone that would be interested in purchasing one.
