Weekend fixtures
Unfortunately most of our fixtures could not go ahead this weekend due to unplayable pitches.

Saturday 25th March
Limerick Desmond Youths Cup
Askeaton AFC 2-3 Feenagh (0-1 HT)
Luke Kelly (2)
Only one fixture went ahead for us this weekend after all the rainfall during the week and amazingly the sun was out for the duration of this game!! The boys started out strong and created some great chances but unfortunately put the first few shots wide. Feenagh were first to get on the scoresheet and went 1-0 up before the break. Fifteen minutes into the second half Feenagh got their second goal but not long after we came back with a goal of our own through Luke Kelly. This opened up the game and the boys fought hard, took control and got the equaliser they were looking for when Sam Harty passed in a lovely ball to Luke, who again slotted it home. The game was there for either team to take in the last ten minutes between two very even sides but unfortunately for us it was Feenagh who got the deserved winning goal.
