U/12 Boys Div 2
Breska Rvs B 1-1 Askeaton
Hugh Sheehy
We took a squad of 12 to Breska. Great conditions. We started strong and had a couple of instances through with the ball but were fouled. Shipped a goal midway through the first half. We started dominating the game but first half ended 1-0 to the home team. Second half was less structured but we finally caught a break and Hugh Sheehy slotted home from a Tommy Harty pass. The last quarter was helter skelter, could have gone either way but ended 1-1. A lot of lads stood up today, playing out of position and gave it everything.
Team: Frank Murphy, Tómas Moane, Kieran Hanley, Dion Harty, Cian Sheehan, Callum Harte, Mike Faulkner, Callum Dalton, Tom Harty, Saul Birdthistle, Hugh Sheehy, Aaron Ranahan.

U/12 Boys Div 4
Askeaton B 0-4 Breska Rvs C
A beautiful morning in the pitch on Saturday. We held our own in the first half and played some great football. We were one nil down going into the second half and needed a bit of luck but Breska scored a quick goal and unfortunately two more goals followed later. Great improvement from this young team.
Team: Dylan Rodriguez, Conor Sheehan, Emanuel Oludakpo, Darragh Moran, Jake Gallagher, Niall Sheehy, Paudie Sheehy, Jamie Purcell, Danny Anglim, Michael O’ Shaughnessy, Bradley Kelly, Cian Sommers, Tyrique McCarthy.

U/14 Boys Div 2
Ballingarry B 2-1 Askeaton AFC
Callum Small
This was a real good preformance playing some great football at times and defended very well. A super goal of the season from the Ballingarry forward followed by a quick 2nd gave them a 2 nil cushion against the run of play. We didn’t lie down though and a slick pass from Sam just on the halfway line to Callum, he had a lot to do, holding off two challenges he ran on to put the ball into the bottom corner. Finished up 2-1. Great praise for all the boys and girls, they are improving every game they play. Their day will come yet!
Team: Luca Zoncada, Rory Moran, Cathal Daly, Conor McKnight, Paudie Ryan, Willie Faulkner, Paddy Harty, Sam Costello, Kerry Moane, Marie McKnight, Callum Small, Danny Murphy.

U/16 Boys Div 2
Rathkeale 2-1 Askeaton AFC
Zach Birdthistle
A last minute breakaway goal gave the home team 3 points when we did everything but score in the 2nd half. Lady Luck shone on the Rathkeale goal as we peppered shot after shot at them.
Rathkeale led after 15 minutes with a deflected shot from a corner. The home team had the better of the play in the opening 40 minutes but never troubled our keeper.
We took control in the second half and became the dominant team. A Zach Birdthistle penalty levelled the match but unfortunately the winner evaded us until Rathkeale broke in the 80th minute.
Team: Cathal Guerin, Dean Murphy, Matthew Kehoe, Connor Neville, Ben Fitzgerald, Jamie Ruane, Deren Aksoy, Jamie Sheehan, Shane Ryan, Zach Birdthistle, Christopher Sheehy, Willie Russell, Danny Murphy, Aidan Kelly.

U/14 Girls Div 2
