Our U/8’s had some great games against Shannonside on Saturday morning, loads of goals and fun from both teams.
U/10 GIRLS.
A very entertaining game Saturday morning in Páirc Eas Geitine against Kilcolman Rovers. Great football was played by both sides and plenty goals scored.

Our Youths played their first Division Two league game last Saturday at home to GB Rovers. Yanek Sheehy scoring in the first half had us up 1 nil at half time. Two more goals from Yanek, and one each from Thomas McCarthy and Mike O’ Sullivan made sure we got all 3 points from the game.

A hard fought win for the lads against top of the table Glantine. Michael James Harty scoring twice and Zach Birdthistle with one.

Split the Pot is our weekly fundraiser for Askeaton Football Club. You can enter by writing your name and contact number on the envelope and place your €2 into the envelope. The envelope should be placed into one of the buckets located in SuperValu, Centra, Askeaton Post Office, Top of the Town Bar, Cagney’s Bar, Shanahan’s Shop, Boss Barbers, Askeaton Soccer Pitch. The draw is held every Tuesday evening in SuperValu Askeaton. Half of the money entered into the draw is given in prize money and the other half goes towards funding activities for our club.
