Saturday 23rd April
U10 Girls
Askeaton v AK Utd
Our girls played a physically stronger team this morning but never stopped trying. Rachel Harty-Maune scored a great team goal midway through the first half. Great performance by the girls on a warm Saturday morning.

U14 Boys League
Askeaton 4-2
Halftime 2-1
We led through goals from Alex Kelly and Brooklyn Delahunty after 15 minutes. Athea pulled one back on 25 minutes and both sides had chances but failed to take them.
2 goals in 10 minutes midway through the second half put the home team in the driving seat. The first was an og after pressure from Matthew Kehoe. Brooklyn Delahunty got his 2nd and our 4th goal. Athea continued to push forward and got their rewards with 10 minutes remaining when their striker finished clinically. Luca Zoncada denied the visitors an opportunity for a grandstand finish with 2 terrific saves late on.

Sunday 24th April
Riedy Cup 2nd Round
Askeaton AFC 0-1 Athea Utd
Great game against a strong Athea side, couldn’t fault the lads. They kept pushing to the final whistle but unfortunately couldn’t get the goal.
