Our u/8’s played some lively football in Ballingarry Saturday morning in their last game of the year.
U/10 Boys
Our u/10 boys played at home Saturday against Broadford. There was some great talent displayed from both sides.
U/12 Boys
Askeaton 0-1 Shannonside
U/12 boys lost 1-0 to shannonside. The lads played very well but just couldn’t get the ball in the net.
U/14 Girls
Askeaton 1-6 Kildimo Utd
Some great football was played by our girls and they never gave up regardless of the score. Great bunch of girls. Leah Kelly hitting the back of the net for Askeaton.
Youths Division 2
Breska Rovers 2-2 Askeaton.
Scorers: Yanek Sheehy and Mike O’ Sullivan.
One point each here after a very entertaining game. Speedy recovery to Mike O’ Sullivan who unfortunately picked up an injury during the match.

SYMPATHY.
All at Askeaton AFC were very saddened to hear of the passing of Mary Cagney on Friday last. Both Mary and the late Donal were always great supporters of our club. We offer our deepest condolences to Mary’s daughters Elena and Ciara, sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

ASKEATON AFC 50/50 SPLIT THE POT!!
Our Split the Pot draw was held last Tuesday, November 16th in SuperValu Askeaton. The winner of €210 was Pete Harty. Congratulations Pete.
Split the Pot is our weekly fundraiser for Askeaton Football Club. You can enter by writing your name and contact number on the envelope and place your €2 into the envelope. The envelope should be placed into one of the buckets located in SuperValu, Centra, Askeaton Post Office, Top of the Town Bar, Cagney’s Bar, Shanahan’s Shop, Boss Barbers, Brian Collins Bookmakers, Moran’s Hardware, Askeaton Soccer Pitch. You can also purchase envelopes online at www.askeatonafc.ie The draw is held every Tuesday evening in SuperValu Askeaton. Half of the money entered into the draw is given in prize money and the other half goes towards funding activities for our club. We thank you all for your continued support of this fundraising initiative, it is very much appreciated.
