Saturday 12th February
U/14 Girls League
Breska Rovers 1-1 Askeaton
A tough battle in Clarina but a fair result. Lucy O’Flaherty put the visitors in front when she chipped the keeper after being put through by Anna Neville. Halftime 0-1
As in the first half there was plenty of chances for both teams but both keepers played brilliantly. Breska equalised midway through the second half with a long range effort worthy of winning a point for her team
U/10 Girls League
Shannonside 1-1 Askeaton
We were behind 0-1 at halftime but battled bravely against a storm in the second half. Our taliswoman Samantha Maune scored our equaliser midway through the second half. Very competitive game with our near neighbours
